Disc contents (8 August 2012)
The disc image includes the following applications: | !Boot | - | the startup instructions, which can be reconfigured so that subsequent startups contain your personal desktop settings. This is based on the 'standard' RISC OS 5 boot structure with a few extra modules required by some applications. |

Other items being considered: PtrCopy - not found on web, may not be ARMv7 safe Shanhai (Dave Chapman version) - not found on web, may not be ARMv7 safe BBC BASIC Guide and PRMs as part of the disc image rather than on a hyperlink to an external site. RISC OS Style Guide A configured web site link for the PackMan package manager. New icons or a theme manager (see $.images.SetIcons for a suggestion). Utility to switch on/off aligned rotate LDRB behaviour Python if it gets ported soon. Reference to 'alpha testing' in the welcome page will be removed when the image goes to beta or RC1. Add link to a comprehensive 'Welcome guide' (being written). HardDisc4 'vanilla' disc image is 24 Jul 2012. ROM release is currently 20 Jul 2012 (issues with 24 Jul ROM - mouse pointer faint and screen updates slow). 'AppStore' application under development by R-Comp. | |||
