Penwithers Junction

This signalbox was situated on the West of England Main Line where the Falmouth branch diverged. Closure of the Falmouth branch was being considered in combination with closure of Truro West and Penwithers Junction boxes, but closure of the branch did not, in fact, take place. The box diagram and corresponding locking table show the position at this time. The diagram is traced from an office copy dated January 1957 held by Kidderminster Railway Muuseum.
